Big Hairy Fun

kai SmytheThe musically masterful, physically wry, award-winning emerging filmmaker, musician and comedian Kai Smythe (In Search of Atlantis and Sexytime!) returns to The Butterfly Club for ONE NIGHT ONLY to premier his first solo show Big Hairy Fun.

Just because you look like a big hairy homeless man, doesn't mean you are one... all of the time. The six and a half foot ‘sasquatch’ grandson of an opera-singing Austrian Baron and double-agent, Kai Smythe was never going to be strictly normal. In one laconic hour Smythe shares a collection of anecdotes from his life as a big hairy man in a pristine and plucked society, and shows how these experiences have lead to his passion for comedy.

Through stand up, live music, film and the odd dance break, Smythe invites his audience to view the world from his lofty angle and ponder where the human race might be headed.
